Goals of Education Department

To reach as many nations as possible, with the tool of Education.
To set up as many mission stations as possible.
To help them become self-sustaining missions which desire accountability to the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ because we brought them the Word, and helped them get started in the Truth. Our Goal is not to try to make any other nation conform to be like Jesus, but establish them as Apostolic Christians in love with Jesus.

Educational Missions

The World is in the throws of travail for the Truth which could only be likened to the cry of the unborn. There is a cry for the Gospel which has never been surpassed. If we are to reach the nations in this generation, it must be by the means of education. There are more and more countries which will not let a Missionary have entrance into their borders, but who are crying for someone who will come in and teach them how to read and write, or to speak English - which is the world's "language of commerce." In fact, 80% of the world's data stored on computers is in the English language. They do not mind if the teachers are Christian, only that they are helping them have the ability to get a better job and be better able to help feed their family.

Missions Stations

The World Missions Department of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ has in the last several years put into effect an Educational Division to help address the needs of the world. We are now in process of establishing Missions Stations. These stations will start with the training of the National Ministers of their countries with quality Bible School courses. If these National Ministers are to be established in the Truth of the Apostle's Doctrine, they must be schooled in the WORD.

Papua New Guinea

In 1993, ALJC Foreign Missions made its first effort toward Educational Missions with a trip to Papua New Guinea. Since that time, we have seen a great increase in the Apostolic work in that country. Just recently, Brother Engoga, who is the General Superintendent of the work there, had several ministers of the Trinity persuasion accept the Oneness of the Godhead and be baptized in Jesus' Name. Even the Governor General of the country asked for Brother Engoga to come to the Capital and explain baptism in Jesus' name to him. One of the church groups turned their church congregation and parsonage over to the Oneness Pentecostal Church of Papua New Guinea!

Program Benefits

Although we all know there is no price we could ever place on a soul, the Educational Missions Ministries is very cost effective. The advantages of this type of program are many. We do not have enough Bible Colleges to turn out the Missionaries which we need now, much less in the future; they would have to learn the language of the nations they intend to reach.

However, with the Educational Missions Program, we bring the Nationals to our language, which most of them desire. This is not the case in every nation, but it is in most. When we teach them English, they have the ability to understand all of the Bible courses we have. In turn, they can teach their nations and in a shorter time reach many more than we could.
